Greetings, everyone! I’m Enrique, and the moment has finally arrived – the launch of my website! This venture has been a longstanding dream of mine, a platform where we can collectively explore and share memories of diverse geographical locations. My inspiration traces back to 2016 when I first encountered geographical Mandela Effects. Witnessing the multitude of people who shared similar recollections of a world divergent from our current reality was truly fascinating and reassuring; I realized I wasn’t alone.
For many of us, memories of an alternate world persistently linger in our minds. Observing the world map today, one can’t help but sense that something isn’t quite as we remember it. Continents have shifted, places that were once islands are no longer islands, countries altered in size and shape, and have completely moved locations. Among the notable changes, a consensus often arises regarding some prominent shifts:
1. South America’s Location Relative to the United States: The entire continent of South America, once situated beneath the United States in our recollections, has shifted thousands of miles to the East, now entirely to the East of the United States.
2. Australia’s Shift: Australia, once distinctly separated by a vast expanse of water as the ‘land down under,’ is now a mere half-hour boat ride from Papua New Guinea and Indonesia, marking a substantial relocation.
3. The Vanished North Pole Ice Cap: Previously resembling a smaller counterpart to Antarctica, the North Pole boasted an entire ice cap. Today, what was once an ice cap for many has changed into an expansive Arctic Ocean, leaving behind a notable absence on maps and globes.

The list extends further, encompassing various changes, but the aforementioned ones stand out as the most frequently cited based on my extensive research over the years. Recognizing the need for a dedicated space to document these geographical changes in reality, I proudly introduce Lost Geographic. The genesis of this site stems from a profound belief that we require a collective repository for this invaluable information.
Lost Geographic serves a pivotal purpose – to disseminate this knowledge to as many individuals as possible. I am steadfast in my conviction that our shared memories will spearhead a new realm of exploration, fostering a deeper comprehension of the past and reality itself. Together, we embark on a journey to decode hidden worlds, transcending the boundaries of conventional understanding.
Join me on this extraordinary journey of rediscovery at Lost Geographic! Your memories are an integral part of the tapestry we’re weaving, and I invite you to be a crucial thread in this collective exploration.
